Love this air fryer
** This review is for the Instant Vortex 6QT XL Air Fryer, 4-in-1I’m very late to the air fryer game. I didn’t think I needed one (I probably don’t lol) but I use it ALL the time now.Like many others said – it has a strong plastic smell out of the box but, knowing this, I opened it out on my deck and let it air out there for a few hours.I haven’t really seen another air fryer in action but as far as I can say – this is quieter than expected, easy to clean and does a great job.There are a lot of presets and follows the same basic interface as most Instant Pot products so it was easy for me to pick up on quickly. I don’t use most of them and it’s easy enough to adjust both time and temp.The basket is a really good size so you can fit a decent amount of food in there and it’s super easy to clean.I’m really happy with my purchase.

Great air fryer. Has lasted a lot longer than the knockoff brand we got before. I would recommend using silicone baskets when cooking food in this model. They keep this model clean & working well.

I’ve used it quite a bit for air frying and it works great. I’ve also used it for baking things like 2 potatoes instead of heating up the entire oven. No issues with sticking and the interface is easy. Nice to have the flip food prompt too. The only slight negative is the grate design takes a little more attention to clean than some other designs.

I LOVE it. I’d wanted one for so long and finally bought one. I’ll be honest, I mostly wanted it to make wings because everyone in my house loves wings. Well, they come out so good. I’m mad that I didn’t buy an air fryer sooner. But I’m glad I have it now. The wings come out so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I’m not sure what else I’ll cook in it yet, but we’ll see. It holds quite a bit which is nice. It’s a lot bigger than I thought it’d be but I’m cool with that.There definitely was a plastic smell but I washed it and then ran it for an hour on 400, then washed it again. Then I left the basket out for a couple hours and now there’s no smell.I’ll update this if anything goes wrong later.

Great air fryer!
I use this air fryer so much now that I have my first one. I was super glad I read the reviews as they mentioned a plastic smell when you first run it. Some people recommended running it without food a few cycles and I sure am glad I did. In my opinion it is a MUST that you run it about 4-5 cycles without food and be prepared for the area to smell like overpowered plastic for a while. It would probably been better if I sprayed the tray with cooking oil in retrospect. It took about two days for the plastic smell to go away in the room itself but did not affect the food smell or taste at all when I finally cooked with it.The basket has a tray with silicone bits that keep it in place. These silicone bits can be removed for cleaning which was glad to see. I started using parchment liners which makes clean up easier but it was pretty easy to clean already. Having this air fryer makes my microwave lonely I think, ha! I’ve used it to cook entire meals down to quick crisp touch up of french fries.I believe the only thing I don’t like is all the beeping it does. It beeps for warm up which is not optional and it beeps half way through cooking for flipping. The warm up process takes about 2-3 minutes. I wish there was a setting to turn off beeping but its not a deal breaker of course.The size is great as well. It’s about the size of a small bucket. It sits next to my Keurig like I have two little star wars drones working for me, lol.I am really glad I got this one as my first air fryer!

It doesn’t smell like burning plastic like I’ve read and heard that other brands can. It’s my first air fryer and I’ve had zero issues. Love the way it cooks French fries. Cleans like a dream. Made homemade buns and they were perfect and faster than my toaster oven. Not noisy. Fits on my counter under my upper cabinets even though it’s a large unit. Finger prints on the digital display can be wiped of with a non abrasive cloth and non abrasive cleaner if needed I can tell that it could be easily permanently marked up if you use anything other than a soft cloth and the buttons you use the most can get a somewhat permanent print on them so I’d recommend wiping the area after each use. Very attractive putter material. Would recommend.

Although on the pricier end for air fryers we have had this for two months and it hasn’t disappointed one bit. Very solid appliance and fries fast and good. We had a problem right when it was delivered and another one was sent immediately. We haven’t had an issue since. Highly Recommend.

Lamento no tener mas fotos, llego ayer, hicimos papas a la francesa, y quedaron igual que fritas, las metimos más tiempo y salieron mega crujientes. Después metidos rodajas delgadas de papá y de igual forma deliciosas, luego rodajas de manzana y súper bien, es una opción fit para comer cosas crujientes. Nota: si no le pones aceite, crujen pero la apariencia es más reseca, y con un pelín de aceite salen idénticas las sumergidas. También te aconsejo a la mitad del tiempo abrir y mover para que se frian uniformemente. En conclusión, es una maravilla, yo no sentí olor a plástico quemado como muchísima dicen y tampoco me pareció muy ruidosa. Comprala¡¡ este tamaño (6 quartos) es súper amplio.

Es muy sencilla de usar. Lo diferente a las demás es que te avisa cuando tienes que voltear la comida, aunque las demás digan que no. En todas las freidoras se tiene que hacer para garantizar el mejor resultado. El diseño es más bonito que como se ve en la imagen. Es de las que tiene mayor capacidad a buen precio. La recomiendo.
