I have been a housewife for over 60 years, and in that time I’ve made a lot of rice and you’d think I’d be able to make perfect rice; but no. I’ve tried steaming, boiling, pilaf and risotto and the cooking results were hit or miss-either mushy, crunchy or burned. But since I started using this dandy little and reasonably priced rice cooker, the Aroma Housewares One Touch Rice Cooker, the rice cooks perfectly every time whether it is balsamic, jasmine, brown, or long-grain rice. It makes no difference; the rice is perfectly cooked. The rice cooker is easy to use and clean and comes with its own measuring cup (I have the 6-cup cooker) and spatula. Just be sure to rinse the rice before using to remove the excess starch. At first I stored the rice cooker in the pantry, but now that I use it so often, especially to make make poke bowls, it has a prominent place on my counter. I highly recommend this rice cooker for cooking perfect rice every time.

Great product. I’ve bought two in the last year. One for me and one for a friend. Rice doesn’t stick at all. Washes well in the dishwasher. Perfect size and stores well. Doesn’t burn your rice as long as you pull the pot out of the cooker when the timer clicks. It isn’t messy at all. My last one spattered all over the place, that’s why I bought this one. Good product. Very happy.

Nice clean look, small but efficient. Takes up little room. Easy to set and walk away, coming back to a pot of fluffy rice. Rice does tend to burn at the bottom.

I bought this “like new” from Amazon resale, and it works great. Upon plugging it in, it filled my room with a burnt odor, which is probably why it was returned. Didn’t really bother me, that’s probably just some leftover chemical from manufacturing. I cooked a cup of rice without issue. The lines on the inner plate tell you how much water to add per cup of rice. Those lines are not for measuring the rice itself.My first bowl of rice was delicious and I highly recommend this. Don’t be worried about the smell. It will go away. Thanks to whoever returned it, because I got it almost half off!

It uses the american plug but getting an adapter isn’t enough since it says it can only use a certain voltage. Voltage adapters break down easily from my mum’s research and also have constant problems with overheating, so just not worth it in the UK

After a year still works perfectly, rice quality is good for 1 cup of rice add 2 cup water, cooking time is under 30 min, good size for 3 cup rice. The stainless steel still in good condition.

Para mi pequeña familia es el tamaño perfecto. Solo he preparado una taza de arroz, no la que viene incluida, y el resultado es excelente, me libera de andar pendiente y puedo trabajar sin interrupciones.
