My husband loves the fact that the bag is smaller than his other bags! It will be easier to bring a few tools when he goes somewhere to help than with his larger bags! Possibly the best value tool package out there. Great for quick jobs around the house or about anything else a hobbyist would need it for. The two batteries included have plenty of life. Dewalt obviously makes quality tools but usually are prohibitively expensive.

My go to for drills and impacts
I was given an older model as a gift one Christmas years ago. i used them for every project, and my corded drill became a shelf piece. Well it ended up finding a new home. So I ordered this set when Amazon had a sale. I am not a product fan boy, I am a right tool for the job at the best price. I am glad I went back to these. The new LEDs are so much brighter than the old models. The speed and torque settings are still perfect. Use 1 for snug and 15 to make sure it never comes lose. These tools feel like the same quality, so they will last for years to come.

Replacing an old Craftsman
I bought this Dewalt combo drill and impact driver because of my aging craftsman drill which had served me well for 11 years. Dewalt has really improved their products over the years, I was able to use the impact driver at my place of employment and was impressed with the power and reliability of the tool. I use the tools around the house for small projects and the 1.5-amp batteries do just fine, if one dies then you grab the other and by the time that one dies the other is charged so it works great for me. The tools are well made and if you need more battery life you can always upgrade. My only piece of advice is to purchase the DWA2NGFT40IR Impact Ready Flextorq 40-Piece screwdriver bit set along with it.

Do not buy this if you live in the UK. I have no idea whether this item is good or bad. It came with what appears to be an American charger. There was no warning on the box or the charger that this would fail if plugged into the UK mains.
